The purpose of the Buckner Foundation, as established by the terms of the Charles M. Buckner Trust, is to support charitable organizations which benefit the residents of Saline County, Missouri and the surrounding area. The Foundation’s Advisers have the absolute and sole discretionary authority for determining gifts from the Foundation.

Grants normally are made quarterly as funds are available in amounts generally less than $50,000.00. Grants for general operating expenses will be considered but are not preferred. 

Applications must be submitted to the Buckner Foundation by February 26th, May 31st, August 30th or November 29th to be considered for that calendar quarter.

Notification of grant acceptance for payment will usually be sent within 60 days of quarterly deadlines. The absence of such notification will indicate that the Application has not received favorable consideration and has been denied. If denied you may reapply at a subsequent dead
